Start in Highland Region but spend much of the day riding on lanes & quiet roads in Moray. The route south from Nairn takes you over mainly quiet country lanes with the trend being uphill, albeit gently for the mostpart, until you reach the Lair of The Wolf (of Badenoch) at Lochindorb where roadside refreshments will be had.

Now for a gentle descent to the estate roads around The Glasgow School of Art via The Olive Cafe in Logie Steading before heading back inland over to whisky territory at Knockando and the Speyside whisky trail crossing back into Highland Region before Grantown. Feed yourself up in Grantown as it’s the last chance for sustenance before a long downhill trending last 30k to Nairn where some food & drink will be on offer at the football ground. All this for a fiver – where else could you get value for money on this scale 😉!!
